Billing
Whimful charges based on pageview volume — a flat CPM (cost per 1,000 page views) with no setup fees, no seat fees, and no contracts. Cancel anytime.
How pricing works
The standard rate is $0.50 per 1,000 page views (0.5 CPM). You're billed at the end of each calendar month based on the total billable page views recorded by Whimful during that period.
Billable page views are counted from your verified site(s). Traffic that is filtered as bot, VPN, or data-center traffic is not counted as billable.

Volume discounts are available for accounts with over 1 million monthly page views. Contact sales@whimful.com.
Free trial
New accounts start with a free trial period. During the trial:
- All features are available — no restrictions.
- Billable events are tracked but not charged. The trial discount is applied automatically at the end of the billing period.
- Your trial end date is shown at the top of the Admin › Billing page.
- No credit card is required to start the trial.
Viewing your usage
Go to Admin › Billing to see:
- Billable events this month — the running count of page views counted toward your bill.
- Month-to-date cost — your accrued charges at the current CPM rate.
- Forecast — a projected end-of-month cost based on current traffic trends.
Payment methods
Whimful accepts major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard). Payments are processed securely via Stripe — Whimful never stores your card details directly.
- Go to Admin › Billing.
- Click Add Payment Method.
- Enter your card details in the secure form.
- Your card is saved for automatic monthly billing.
You can update or remove a payment method from the same page. If no valid payment method is on file when a billing period ends, your account may be paused.
Billing details (personal / business info)
Your billing name and address are separate from your account settings. To update them:
- Go to Admin › Billing.
- Click Edit billing details.
- Update your name, company name, and address. This information appears on your invoices.
Transactions & invoices
A full transaction history is available under Admin › Billing › Transactions. Each entry shows:
- Billing period
- Amount charged
- Payment status
- A downloadable PDF invoice
Closing your account
To close your account, email accounts@whimful.com. Self-serve account closure is not available yet. Any outstanding charges for the current billing period will be invoiced at time of closure.
