Whimful

Settings

Settings is split into three sections: Account (shared configuration), Users (team access), and Personal (your individual profile).

Account settings

Go to Admin › Settings › Account.

Account ID

Your unique account identifier. You'll see this in your dashboard URL (/a/YOUR_ACCOUNT_ID/...). This ID is fixed and cannot be changed.

Account status

Shows whether your account is Open (active) or closed. An Open account has full access to all features.

To close your account, email accounts@whimful.com. Self-serve closure is not available yet.

Reporting timezone

Sets the timezone used across all reports and dashboards. Changing this affects how dates and times are displayed — it does not retroactively change historical data.

Select your preferred timezone from the dropdown. The setting saves automatically.

User management

Go to Admin › Settings › Users to control who has access to your account.

Inviting users
  1. Go to Admin › Settings › Users.
  2. Click Invite User.
  3. Enter the person's email address.
  4. They'll receive an email invitation with a link to set up their account.

Invited users don't need an existing Whimful account — they'll create one when they accept the invitation.

Roles & permissions

Each user is assigned a role that controls what they can see and do:

  • Admin — full access including billing, settings, and user management.
  • Editor — can view and configure connectors, agents, and reports. Cannot manage billing or users.
  • Viewer — read-only access to reports and dashboards.
Removing access

To revoke a user's access, find them in the Users table and select Remove. The action is immediate — they will be logged out and unable to access the account.

Personal settings

Go to Admin › Settings › Personal to manage your own profile.

Profile information

Update your display name and email address. Your email address is used for login and all account notifications.

Notifications

Configure which alerts you receive. You can choose to be notified about:

  • Agent alerts (e.g. a campaign policy violation is detected)
  • Billing notifications (invoices, payment failures)
  • Weekly performance summaries
